The Museum at Prairiefire took the top honor at the Associated General Contractors of Kansas annual awards, Wichita Business Journal reports.

The Overland Park project won the judges' choice award. Prairiefire was developed by Merrill Cos., with McCownGordon Construction LLC as the general contractor.

Also winning awards were Cerner Corp.'s Continuous Campus and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority's Midtown Metro Transit Center in Kansas City, Kan.; and Black & Veatch's headquarters renovation and expansion in Overland Park.
