Four more tenants will call Prairiefire home when a new area of the Overland Park mixed-use development along the south side of 135th Street between Nall and Lamar avenues launches in May.

Fat Brain Toys, which is opening its first store outside of Nebraska, will use a 2,800-square-foot space. Launched in 2002, the company began as an online store selling magnetic toys. In 2008, it opened its first storefront and now sells nearly 7,000 in-stock toys, gifts and games. Fat Brain Toys boasts the "single largest selection of American-made toys found anywhere."

Bridal Extraordinaire will open a 4,000-square-foot store, offering everything from bridal gowns to bridesmaid dresses to tuxedos to accessories and more. The full-service bridal store won The Knot's Best of Weddings award from 2008 to 2013.

Family-owned Eagle's Nest Natural Home will offer natural home furnishings, including organic mattresses, in its 1,800-square-foot store. Furniture styles run the gamut from elegant to transitional to contemporary. Customers can choose furniture from the showroom floor or create their own custom piece.

Threshing Bee will house several boutiques in its 6,000-square-foot space. Boutiques will include Dry Creek Goods, Adorn, Zuzu's Petals, Tomboy designed by Laura McGrew, Mended Wing and Tiny Town.
